Vox sent me out to make a portrait of Mizzou Records owner Brandon Kramer today. I tried to capture the feeling of being in a jungle of records. He recently got set up in his new shop on East Walnut, right next to the always appealing Ernie’s restaurant.
I used an incandescent gel on the flash and forgot to compensate for it in-camera, which added a lot of post work to the mix. Fortunately things turned out pretty well.

Wheres the sea? I’d love to see the place. Did you find any details? Any wider shots? I know its a portrait, but I also know you can make a better environmental portrait out of this situation. Nice thought of using gels.
